{"id":795,"date":"2008-06-18T04:29:00","date_gmt":"2008-06-18T11:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.gajunkie.com\/?p=795"},"modified":"2008-06-18T04:29:00","modified_gmt":"2008-06-18T11:29:00","slug":"moderator-of-the-church-of-scotland-now-blogging","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.gajunkie.com\/?p=795","title":{"rendered":"Moderator of the Church of Scotland Now Blogging"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland has started <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.churchofscotland.org.uk\/news\/newsmodblog.htm\">blogging<\/a>.&nbsp; The first, I think, entry is about the visit of six Malawians to Glasgow.<\/p>\n<p>It will be interesting to see how this develops.&nbsp; At the moment the blog is a page on the Church of Scotland web site and not hosted using the more typical CMS blog software.&nbsp; When a new post is added we will have to see if it replaces the previous or they are available on the same page or the older one is archived.&nbsp; And if there is an RSS feed I have not found it yet.&nbsp; And as you can tell, this is not Web 2.0.&nbsp; It is more like a weekly update or reflection from the Moderator and without comments it is not interactive.&nbsp; We will see if this evolves.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland has started blogging.&nbsp; The first, I think, entry is about the visit of six Malawians to Glasgow.
